Job summary

California State University, Stanislaus seeks a Theatre Student Assistant (Costume Shop) to support box office operations and customer service for Theatre Department events. The role requires evening and weekend availability and is a temporary hourly-intermittent position based in Stanislaus - Turlock.

The position runs from on or after October 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027, with possible reappointment based on budget, department needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Undergrad students must be enrolled in at least six Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be enrolled in at least four Fall/Spring units.
• Demonstrates cashiering and customer service experience.
• Ability to quickly learn new software.
• Ability to multitask and stay reliable.
• Motivation and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support as a box office cashier for Theatre Department events.
• Provide customer service at Theatre Department events.
• Assist in the Theatre Office, Theatre Labs, Costume Shop, and Scene Shop.
• Provide technical assistance when requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
