Job summary

AMC Theatres seeks a Supervisor to direct daily theatre crew performance, ensure smooth operations for guests and staff, and lead with energy and care in a fast-paced, movie-loving environment.

You will coordinate floor operations, manage openings/closings, handle cash and inventory tasks, support schedules, and coach team members while upholding AMC's standards and guest experience. Evening/weekend availability and a friendly, proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong guest service and communication skills; ability to lead teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and theatre-specific systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and reliable teammate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and coach theatre crew for daily responsibilities and guest service.
• Assist in floor operations and proper crew placement.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and vendor access during off-hours.
• Assign registers, distribute banks, and reconcile floor safes.
• Count cash, coupons, and equivalents; enter results and prepare deposits.
• Maintain cash-handling accuracy and forms.
• Support inventory processes and crew scheduling with management approval.
• Troubleshoot system issues via support tickets and follow-up.
• Resolve guest concerns and AMC Stubs or refund issues.
• Distribute passes and perform other duties as directed.
• Lead daily operations and administrative tasks to stay on schedule.
