Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Maintenance Employee to repair and maintain theatre facilities, equipment, and property, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. The role often occurs during off-hours but may happen during operating hours.

You will perform repairs on seats, fixtures, flooring, and office equipment; coordinate with the General Manager; handle cleaning, storage, safety, and PPE; and support outside vendors as needed. Benefits include health, 401(k), and movie benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain theatre and theatre property including tile, carpet floors, restroom fixtures, countertops, mirrors, walls and seats.
• Keep tools and supplies safely maintained, cleaned, organized.
• Remove trash and dispose of broken parts from repair areas after work is completed.
• Clean and organize the Maintenance storage areas.
• Inspect theatre and property to ensure cleanliness and readiness for the next day’s business.
• Coordinate with the General Manager on items to be repaired or maintained.
• Communicate parts and supplies needs to the General Manager.
• Keep theatre keys secure and doors locked during non-operating hours.
• Guard against unauthorized personnel entering the building during Maintenance shift.
• Meet with outside vendors to grant access and direct them to work areas.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment as required by tasks.
• Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks.
• Monitor safety and security issues and report them to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
