Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Maintenance Employee to repair and maintain theatre facilities and equipment, typically during non-operating hours but also allowed during operating hours. You will help keep seats, walls, fixtures, restrooms, and concessions in top condition, and you may work with contract labor for major repairs.

You will partner with the General Manager, ensure safety compliance, and handle parts procurement while keeping the venue clean and welcoming for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages and comprehend English.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction.
• Sense of urgency in tasks.
• Reliable transportation to obtain parts and supplies.
• Ability to maneuver in limited-space areas (restroom stalls, auditorium seat rows).
• Ability to safely mix chemicals and dispose of used chemicals per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains theatre and theatre property (tiles, flooring, fixtures, counters, seats, etc.).
• Keep tools and supplies safely maintained, cleaned, and organized.
• Remove trash and debris from repair areas after completion.
• Clean and organize Maintenance storage areas.
• Inspect theatre and property to ensure cleanliness and proper function for next day’s business.
• Coordinate with General Manager on repair/maintenance items.
• Communicate needs for parts and supplies to General Manager.
• Maintain theatre keys and secure doors during non-operating hours.
• Guard against unauthorized entry during Maintenance shift.
• Meet with outside vendors to grant access and direct them to work areas.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Adapt to cleaning task frequency/scope.
• Monitor safety and security issues and report to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
