Job summary

Daryl Roth Theatre in Union Square is seeking a Part-Time Facilities Assistant for evenings and weekends, up to 20 hours a week. The role supports rental entities and production staff to keep spaces show-ready.

Responsibilities include maintaining theatre systems and spaces, obtaining necessary certifications, and performing light cleaning and trash collection to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous venue and production technical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to rental entities and their production staff.
• Ensure theatrical systems and theatre spaces are maintained and are show ready.
• Obtaining FDNY certifications.
• Ensuring building systems are maintained, maintain clean and safe environment.
• Daily trash collection for the theatre, lobbies, and dressing rooms.
• Light cleaning of the theatres and public spaces.
