Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Faculty position in the Department of Communications/Graphic/Fine Arts to teach Theatre Arts across campus locations. The role pays $640 per credit hour.

Qualifications

Master’s degree with theatre focus or 18 grad hours plus master’s in any discipline.
Minimum two years teaching in higher education or one year teaching with three years field experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver instruction on Theatre Arts topics.
Grade, evaluate, and communicate progress to students promptly.
Develop curricula and instructional materials such as syllabi and handouts.
Assist in recruitment, retention, and student support for course-related issues.
Maintain attendance records and FERPA-compliant records.
Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development.
Contribute to committees and outreach activities.
