Job summary

The Coast Community College District seeks a non‑academic, non‑classified short‑term support employee to assist the theatre and related events, performing tasks in staging, sound, lighting, mechanical rigging and other technical systems.

Under direct to minimum supervision, you will support regular staff with temporary tasks; positions are at‑will, not benefits eligible, and may not exceed 160 working days in a fiscal year or 19 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: dependent on specific division, department or program assignment; or any combination of education and experience that provides the required equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• On a temporary basis, provide assistance in tasks supporting theatre/stage productions and related events, i.e., staging, sound, lighting, mechanical rigging and related technical systems. Performs additional related duties as assigned.
