Olympic College is seeking a Technical Theatre / Technical Theatre Support Full-Time Faculty (Temporary) to oversee the technical functions of the William D. Harvey Theatre and teach one technical theatre class per quarter.

The role is a 9‑month position with renewal potential, and it emphasizes lighting, sound, and video systems management. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre or related field with professional theatrical production experience and teaching ability.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Theatre or related field; professional theatrical production experience; teaching experience at college level or demonstrated instructional capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical elements for William D. Harvey Theatre; supervise crews and troubleshoot theatre equipment.
• Teach one 5‑credit technical theatre class per quarter and develop curricula for 2027–2028.
• Coordinate with faculty and events staff on facility use; maintain equipment; budget upgrades; supervise interns.
