Job summary

The role collaborates closely with designers, directors, and the production team to achieve artistic and functional goals.

Candidate will ensure safe handling of tools and materials, assist with maintenance and repairs, and aid in strike and load-in during show changes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read measuring tools and interpret drawings, design elevations and/or replicate and finish models.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment.
• Promote proper communication and a team atmosphere with coworkers.
• Ability to operate lifts in tight spaces and work at heights.
• Work with diverse personalities—from engineers to creative directors.
• Must have strong time management skills and adapt under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Determine materials and construct sets based on drawings and 3D models.
• Collaborate with designers, directors, and other production team members to achieve artistic and functional goals.
• Ensure safe and proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials in safety standards.
• Support maintenance and repair of existing sets and props as needed.
