Sight & Sound Brand in Grapevine, TX is seeking a skilled Scenic Carpenter to study blueprints and 3D models to construct, install, and repair sets and props using plywood, foam, metal, and other materials. The role collaborates closely with designers, directors, and the production team to achieve artistic and functional goals.
Candidate will ensure safe handling of tools and materials, assist with maintenance and repairs, and aid in strike and load-in during show changes.

The Scenic Carpenter is responsible to study blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to be able to construct, install, and repair sets and props in accordance with artistic and functional vision using materials such as plywood, foam, wallboard, metal, and a variety of other materials.

The physical demands of this position are active in nature. You will be expected to be on your feet frequently, walk and stand regularly, consistently communicate with team members using a radio, work indoors, use ladders and other lift equipment, operate heavy machinery and power tools, and frequently lift/exert up to 50 lbs. of force. High School or better.
Experience with Carpentry
