Job summary

Woodstock Union MS/HS in Woodstock, Vermont is seeking a Theater Program Assistant to support the Theater Director with coordination and production of the school’s theater program. Qualifications

• Two to five years of related experience in theater production, performing arts, event production, or a related area.
• Experience in one or more areas of theater production, such as lighting, sound, costuming, publicity, or production coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Theater Director, students, staff, and volunteers.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines associated with theater productions.
• Availability during rehearsals, performances, and other theater program activities, including evenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lighting, sound, and other technical production needs.
• Support costume planning, organization, and coordination.
• Assist with publicity, advertising, and promotion of theater productions.
• Recruit, organize, and coordinate volunteers.
• Coordinate and manage rehearsal and production schedules.
• Support communication and logistics among students, staff, volunteers, and others involved in productions.
