Cinemark Line Cooks are at the heart of the theater kitchen, preparing quality items in a fast-paced setting to ensure a positive guest experience. You will work with a culinary team to follow recipes and maintain food quality for moviegoers seeking quick, tasty meals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Interpersonal skills include the ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction.
• Responds with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items per approved recipes and portion controls.
• Follows and executes prep lists daily.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage per health regs.
• Minimizes food waste and theft through policy adherence.
• Collaborates with server team to ensure order accuracy.
• Cleans area and equipment after use; note: pizza dough sheeter handling restricted for under-18s.
• Opens or closes a workstation as scheduled.
• Maintains professional image in Cinemark culinary attire.
• Ensures SOPs, maintenance, safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Wipes down and sanitizes high-contact areas for guests and employees.
