Job summary

The UPS Store in New Jersey is seeking a Center Associate to provide world-class customer service by helping walk-in customers with packages, printing, and other services. You will guide customers to best-value options and operate printing, binding, laminating, and POS devices with confidence.

The role requires learning all product offerings, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and supporting the team in achieving sales through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities while following

Qualifications

• Prior UPS Store/print center experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of Retail/customer service experience required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Able to lift 40+ pounds.
• Regular, consistent availability Mon-Fri and weekends as listed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, The UPS Store team members, and leadership.
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping and printing needs and offers viable solutions.
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping and / or printing needs and offers viable solutions.
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends, including all store-mandated training.
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in a safe and expert fashion and is willing to teach others.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to current guidelines for health (COVID) practices.

OB SUMMARY

The Center Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

• Monday - Friday : 8:30 Am - 6:30 PM
• Saturday : 9 AM - 4 PM
• Sunday : 9 AM - 3 PM
