The Spice & Tea Exchange invites passionate foodies to join our team in a fast-paced retail setting. We offer full-time and part-time roles with morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts, and emphasize friendly, attentive service.

As a team member, you will help guests explore our spices, blends, and teas, maintain neat displays, price items, and assist with packaging. A dynamic, learning-focused workplace awaits motivated individuals.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide stellar customer service.
• Follow up with guests using trademarked lines.

• Blend and package products as needed.
• Assist customers with location, product information, price and uses, establishing rapport.
• Maintain current product knowledge through training and reading relevant publications.
• Adhere to store operating standards and daily procedures.
• Notify management when inventory is low.
• Contribute to store appearance through daily upkeep.

Ideal candidates are personable, persuasive, and enthusiastic. This is not a seasonal position but longer term and weekend availability is a must.

Responsibilities

A The Spice & Tea Exchange® Employee is expected to:

• Ensure each guest receives stellar customer service and is welcomed into the store and greeted with our trademarked opening lines
• Utilize trademarked follow up lines with guests
• Maintain inventory levels throughout the store, e.g. on shelves, counters, and tables, in containers with merchandise and product while assessing store inventory levels; notify management of low inventory levels
• Price merchandise with labels, SKU’s, prices, and locations
• Blends and package products as necessary and where applicable
• Obtains merchandise requested by the customer, field customer questions concerning location, product information, price and uses for products while establishing rapport with customers to ensure their return and/or word of mouth advertising
• Maintain solid, accurate, and current product knowledge to adequately promote the product by reading applicable publications and attending necessary training activities
• Complies with operating standards and procedures pertaining to the daily operation of the store
• Assess and notify management of low product inventory levels
• Helps maintain store appearance by contributing towards daily chores
