Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Winter Seasonal server for Jackson Hole. You will greet guests, describe the dining experience, take orders and provide wine/spirits knowledge in a luxury setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of high-end restaurant service experience, fluent English, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Benefits include housing discounts, employee travel, and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 year server experience in a fast-paced high-end restaurant setting.
• Candidates must have legal work authorization in the United States.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and outline the dining experience.
• Take guest orders and describe food & beverage items with vivid descriptions.
• Provide wine and spirits knowledge in an elegant environment.
• Coordinate guest orders with kitchen and POS system.
• Perform side duties including setup and breakdown of tables and silverware.
• Utilize the resort’s computer system to ring up sales and close checks.
• Work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.
• Provide knowledge of the restaurant, resort and surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, outlining the dining experience.
• Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience.
• Take guest orders and describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin,taste, and preparation methods.
• Ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience.
• Make food or drink recommendations/suggestions, confirm allergies or preferences and ensure information is captured and facilitated accurately to kitchen team and POS system.
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen.
• Perform additional side duties including breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, silverware preparation, andother tasks or projects as assigned by management.
• Utilize the resort’s computer system ringing up sales, print checks, close checks and complete closing reading.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Provide an in-depth knowledge of the restaurant, resort and surrounding area.

Preferred Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
• Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Fluent English
• 1-2 yearserversexperience inafast-pacedhigh-endrestaurant settingrequired.
• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40lbs.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
