Job Summary: The Epic Architect is responsible for supporting the implementation, optimization, and daily operations of Epic's EHR Solution. This includes system configuration, troubleshooting, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure effective Epic platform use. The role may involve leading teams across multiple modules.

Module Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth expertise in Epic's EHR Solution and at least one other Epic module. Preferred certifications in multiple Epic modules across Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Ancillary, Integration, and Reporting towers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in configuring and customizing the Epic EHR to meet organizational needs and workflows, including reporting and interfaces.
• Monitor and resolve issues via incident management and ticketing systems.
• Provide frontline support and training to clinical staff and end-users.
• Maintain data integrity and implement quality control measures.
• Analyze workflows, identify improvements, and optimize Epic processes.
• Document system configurations, changes, and resolutions.
• Generate reports, analyze data, and improve system performance.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and Meaningful Use.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and IT teams to address Epic needs.
• Assist in troubleshooting and issue resolution to maintain system stability.
• Provide on-call and after-hours support as needed.
• Participate in upgrades, testing, and releases.

Qualifications:

• Active Epic certification in at least one module is mandatory.
• Technical bachelor’s degree or related field (healthcare informatics, administration).
• Familiarity with Epic solutions and additional modules is a plus.
• Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work closely with clinical staff.
