Job summary

GLOBAL LANGUAGE STRATEGIES is seeking an experienced Thai-to-English or English-to-Thai translator and editor for remote, ongoing freelance work. You will translate and edit official documents, ensure accuracy, and maintain client formatting guidelines.

The role requires native or high-proficiency Thai and English, a relevant degree (preferred), 2–5 years of experience, and the ability to work independently with reliable turnaround. U.S. citizenship is required.

Position Overview:

GLS isseeking an experienced Thai-to-English or English-to-Thai translator and editor to support ongoing document translation and editing assignments.

This remote, freelance independent contractor role involves translating and editing a variety of official documents, including vital records, legal documents, official certificates, and academic transcripts. Assignments will be provided on an as-needed basis and may require quick turnaround timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate Thai to English or English to Thai into an accurate product.
   
2. Edit and review translated materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency.
   
3. Maintain confidentiality and follow all client-specific instructions and formatting requirements.
   
4. Meet assigned deadlines, including one-to-two-day turnaround timelines, when required,
   

Requirements Qualifications:
