Job summary

Global Textile Alliance (GTA) seeks a creative and technically skilled Textiles & Surface Designer to join our Design team. You will develop artwork, prints, patterns, and surface designs for woven and knit textiles, with a strong focus on bedding and home textiles.

The ideal candidate blends artistic vision with technical textile expertise, understands color theory, scale, and manufacturing constraints, and can take concepts from concept through production while collaborating across design,

Qualifications

3+ years of professional design experience in textiles or related fields.
Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Surface Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related discipline.
Strong portfolio showcasing original artwork, surface patterns, and digital design.

Responsibilities

Create original artwork, prints, patterns, motifs, and surface designs for home textiles.
Develop concepts based on briefs, trends, and business objectives.
Prepare production-ready digital files in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Create 2D and 3D renderings using tools like 3DGO or EAT.
Collaborate with Design, Sales, and Product Development teams to build cohesive collections.
Present concepts clearly in design reviews and stay current with trends.
