Job summary

Maharam is the leading creator of textiles for interiors, delivering design that blends utility, technology, luxury, and environmental impact. The Textiles Showroom Assistant maintains sample rooms at 251 Park Ave South, New York, NY, supporting Maharam, Knoll Textiles, and Edelman Leather Design teams.

This role requires organization, proactivity, and clear communication. The position involves updating binders, managing samples, coordinating shipments and returns, and assisting with showroom

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Binder updates: keep binders up-to-date for sales and clients.
• Pull discontinued tip cards and white-out colorways on cards.
• Integrate newly introduced materials into showroom spaces and sample rooms.
• Add new tip cards to binders and file memo samples in the showroom libraries.
• Ship materials back to the distribution center as required and manage donations.
• Assist with showroom maintenance and organization of office supplies.
