Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking helpers to operate in a manufacturing environment: the Feeder/Folder sorts, inspects, folds, and prepares clean textiles for final distribution. You will hand-fold or feed items into machines, ensuring they meet production standards while reporting to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities include sorting by type, folding, packaging, and tracking production activity. The role requires physical work, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds, with benefits

Qualifications

• Recognize colors, sizes, and product types.
• Counting and sorting accuracy.
• Skill in inspecting and grading product quality.
• Understanding of written packing instructions and capability to follow verbal and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, and grade textiles to meet quality standards.
• Fold, assemble, and package textiles by hand or feed into machines as required.
• Process textiles by product type and follow packing instructions for distribution.
• Move finished products to conveyors or carts within the production area.
• Log production activity in the Spindle productivity tracking system.
