Alsco Uniforms in Charleston, SC is hiring a Feeder/Folder to sort, grade, and fold textiles, feeding irons or folding machines and ensuring efficient production. You will handle multiple textile types, follow packing instructions, and maintain safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Color recognition and size counting to sort textiles.
• Ability to sort, inspect, and grade products.
• Comprehend and follow written packing instructions.
• Comprehend and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Grasp textiles from a cart/bin, sort, inspect, and grade per quality standards.
• Fold, assemble, and package textiles by hand of various types and sizes.
• Feed textiles into ironers or folding machines.
• Place finished product onto conveyors or into carts and manage slings of product.
• Move carts/bins within the production area.
• Process textiles per type and packing instructions.
• Maintain efficiency and safety standards and follow supervisor instructions.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Work in other production positions as needed.
