Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Counter-Sorter to sort and count incoming soiled textiles, identify damaged items, and transfer textiles to appropriate departments. You will report to the Production Manager and work as part of a team in a production setting.

The role requires physical tasks, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adherence to PPE policies; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to support production flow and adapt to daily operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Open bags of soiled textiles and sort by type, size and color.
• Count textiles manually or electronically and record into sorting systems.
• Identify damaged or abused textiles and record into sorting systems.
• Comply with efficiency and safety standards for the position.
• Wear and follow PPE policies.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
