Job summary

Planet Aid is seeking a Warehouse/Material Handler to support efficient handling, sorting, and movement of donated materials. You will load/unload, operate baling equipment, and assist with inventory scanning in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with occasional Saturdays. Pay is $18/hr plus benefits including health, vision, dental, life, AD&D, and a 401k. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable performance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and support production as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and bins.
• Sort donated items into appropriate categories for processing.
• Assist with scanning and tracking materials in the system.
• Operate and support baling equipment for material processing.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (as needed).
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper storage after use.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for daily operations.
• Support team members and production needs as required.
