Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic quality system knowledge.
• Minimum of one year in a quality role preferred.
• Three years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in textile manufacturing ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize internal systems software with Microsoft Office to identify and assess trends in quality.
• Customer-related data entry in preparation for customer sharing.
• Daily assessment of production tickets for quality issues and shipment approval.
• Monitor knitting machine and warping operation quality, escalating issues as needed.
• Communicate yarn quality issues to leadership, including placing machine on hold if necessary.
• Supplier communication of raw material issues.
• Customer and supplier visit support, as requested.
• Assessment of fabric samples for identifying quality concerns.
• Manage supplier documentation regarding claims and returns.
• Manage incoming nonconformance reports from customers and assist in development, implementation, and logging of corrective actions.
