Job summary

Burlington Industries Raeford operation seeks a highly skilled Quality Manager to oversee quality control and testing across yarn production. You will lead lab operations, set quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across multiple labs and lines.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in yarn manufacturing, lab testing, and process optimization, with leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and deliver measurable quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a textile or related field; certifications in quality management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in quality management within textile manufacturing, with yarn production and lab testing.
• Experience managing labs, quality audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of yarn manufacturing processes including spinning, winding, and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards for yarn manufacturing.
• Oversee multiple laboratory operations and ensure testing procedures are accurate and aligned with quality objectives.
• Lead a team of lab technicians and quality personnel, guiding issue resolution and maintaining product consistency.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality protocols.
• Analyze data from production and testing to identify trends and present quality metrics to management.
