Job summary

Texwipe is seeking a Summer Textile Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Texwipe business unit. You will gain experience across operations, lean manufacturing, and new product development while presenting your projects to the team at summer’s end.

The internship lasts about 10–12 weeks, with collaboration across R&D and manufacturing. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s in textile engineering or related field, graduating Fall 2027 or Spring 2028, and possess strong data analytics

Qualifications

• Pursue a bachelor’s degree in textile engineering or related field, graduation Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Strong leadership, data analytics, organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills.
• Self-directed, results-oriented and customer focused.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel etc.).
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team, and independently.

Responsibilities

• Improve textile manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Implement lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production quality and ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for management.
• Collaborate with R&D on new products and techniques.
• Review and confirm current material set up.
