Job summary

Standard Textile invites students to join as a Summer Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week program focused on improving operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment. You will work with engineering, maintenance, and production teams in the Terry Towel and Sheeting departments to identify process improvements that boost productivity and automation.

• 1-3 years of completed coursework in an accredited Engineering Program.
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Suite skills (Excel).
• AutoCAD experience (2D) preferred.

• Implement Maintenance WO system and provide training to machine operators and maintenance department.
• Improve / streamline current method of production tracking reports.
• Participate in various meetings and training to support the plant.
• Additional responsibilities assigned as needed.
• Assist in LEAN events that are designed to drive continuous process improvements throughout the plant.

Summer Engineering Intern

The Summer Engineering Intern will participate in a 10-12 week internship focused on improving operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The intern will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to identify process improvements in the Terry Towel and Sheeting departments while supporting plant-wide projects that enhance productivity, automation, and overall operational performance.
