Job summary

Sacbar seeks a Textile Coordinator to join our Raw Materials Development team in California. This role manages textile processes, documentation, sample tracking, and material data to support product development.

You will log and process samples, maintain PLM records, create fabric part numbers, track testing results, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely material management across projects.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of administrative, textile, materials, manufacturing, product development, or customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database/PLM systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with Tech Packs (Specification Packs) preferred.
  • Experience supporting New Product Development (NPD/NPI), Sustainability, or Innovation initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, and process textile samples for laboratory evaluation.
  • Track and manage customer-provided materials (COM) and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and maintain textile documentation and create fabric part numbers in internal systems.
  • Update textile testing results and support verification processes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining textile work instructions and documentation.
  • Coordinate the shipment of textile samples and swatches with internal teams.
  • Manage textile sample libraries, reference archives, and new textile collections.
  • Maintain organized textile inventory and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Support engineering and product development teams with textile-related information.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and process requirements.
