Job summary

Resurgent Industries seeks a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our textile production team in Austin. The role focuses on reliable operation of yarn spinning and fabric knitting machinery, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing downtime, and updating our CMMS with work orders and parts data.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with textile equipment, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work under time pressure while prioritizing safety and quality.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma preferred.
3–6 years in industrial maintenance, preferably textiles.
Experience with textile machinery and production equipment.
Able to read mechanical/electrical drawings; perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair textile yarn spinning and knitting machines.
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
Diagnose root causes to restore uptime quickly.
Execute PM tasks per PM program and manufacturer guidance.
Record work orders, parts, labor, and equipment history in CMMS.
Communicate repair estimates and status to teams.
