Job summary

Responsibilities

• Create original hand-drawn, hand-painted, and digitally rendered prints, patterns, and motifs for bedding and bath collections.
• Develop production-ready art packages, including CAD files, repeats, colorways, color separations, technical specifications, and clean Illustrator/Photoshop flats.
• Translate concepts, trend research, and seasonal direction into finished artwork while managing print-artwork processes such as scanning, cleaning, recoloring, and repeating.
• Collaborate with the design, merchandising, product development, and sourcing teams to review concepts, select textiles, and maintain the seasonal calendar.
• Research historical and current trends and prepare materials for presentations, fittings, showrooms, and seasonal installations.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of textile design experience, ideally in bedding, bath, or home textiles; a degree in Textile Design or a related field is preferred.
• Strong hand-drawing and hand-painting skills, with the ability to create original artwork by hand.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, including experience creating repeats, color separations, colorways, and clean CAD files.
• Understanding of woven and printed textile construction and production; knowledge of bedding sewing construction is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; experience with AI design tools is a plus.
