Job summary

24 Seven Talent seeks a trendy Textile Designer to bring Pop Culture Fashion designs to life through original textile prints and graphics. You will collaborate with Merchandising, Design, and the Senior Artist to develop trend-driven artwork for fashion apparel.

The ideal candidate has expert Illustrator and Photoshop skills, a strong understanding of fashion trends, and hands-on experience with textile printing techniques, silk screening, embroidery, sublimation, and production artwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Textile Design experience within a wholesale and/or vertical business.
• Education or certification in Graphic Arts or Textile Design.
• Expert-level Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
• Ability to hand draw and recreate artwork based on specific styles and techniques.
• Strong understanding of fashion, trends, and pop culture.
• Comprehensive knowledge of textile and apparel printing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Artist to develop original textile prints and graphics for fashion apparel.
• Create artwork inspired by current trends and pop culture.
• Create and present print concepts to Design and Merchant partners.
• Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to prepare, modify, resize, and finalize artwork.
• Work with Product Development and Design to communicate printing and design techniques to factories.
• Develop artwork with consideration for silk screening, embroidery, sublimation, embellishment, woven plaids, and dye treatments.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Design, Product Development, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
