Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Counter-Sorter to handle, count, and sort incoming soiled textiles from customers in an industrial laundry environment. You will identify damaged textiles and transfer items to appropriate departments, reporting to the Production Manager.

The role emphasizes physical tasks, PPE adherence, and teamwork, with benefits including retirement plans, health coverage, and paid time off. Employment is contingent on drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial laundry or textile sorting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Open bag of soiled textiles, sort by type, size and color.
• Count textiles manually or electronically and transfer into sorting systems.
• Identify damaged or abused textiles and record findings.
• Follow safety and PPE procedures.
• Work as part of a team.
