Job summary

Tommy Bahama is seeking a CAD Designer to creatively develop print and pattern for all divisions, enhancing sales while preserving brand integrity. You will collaborate with the Art Department to deliver original textile designs, repeats, embroideries and prints while meeting deadlines.

Requirements include a degree in Textile Arts, Fashion Design or Graphic Design, 3+ years with Photoshop, Illustrator and NedGraphics, and strong knowledge of fabric printing processes and pattern repeats.

Qualifications

• Degree in Textile Arts, Fashion Design or Graphic Design.
• 3+ years' experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and NedGraphics.
• Strong knowledge of fabric printing, repeats and factory constraints.
• Working knowledge of Flex PLM.
• Solid copyright understanding for textile design.

Responsibilities

• Create original artwork across all Tommy Bahama brands in line with brand identity.
• Develop all over prints, placement prints, embroideries and yarn-dye patterns.
• Scan and clean artwork, create repeats to factory specs.
• Collaborate with design to meet deadlines and maintain brand integrity.
• Prepare reference documents and assist artwork archive systems.
• Produce timely materials for seasonal artwork send-outs.
