Job summary

LHH in Vernon, CA is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our on-site team. This role forecasts demand, analyzes inventory trends, and supports supply chain planning to ensure optimal product availability.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in demand planning within textile, apparel, or consumer goods, with strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills and a track record of improving forecast accuracy and contributing to S&OP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years in demand planning, inventory planning, or related field.
• Experience in textile, apparel, fabric, fashion, consumer products, manufacturing, or related industry.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for forecasting and inventory planning.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, customer demand, and BI.
• Partner with Sales, Production, Operations, and Supply Chain to align forecasts with business objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast accuracy to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
• Analyze sales trends, customer purchasing behavior, and seasonal fluctuations to support planning.
• Participate in S&OP meetings and provide forecasting recommendations.
• Generate recurring demand planning reports, inventory analyses, and KPI metrics.
• Identify demand risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Production to support material and inventory planning.
• Monitor forecast performance and continuously improve forecasting methodologies.
• Support new product launches and customer-specific demand planning initiatives.
• Maintain accurate planning data within ERP, MRP, and inventory management systems.
