Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in retail management or graduate of the Best Seller Program.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Outstanding customer service skills to match customers to products.
• Basic reading, writing and accounting skills required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills needed.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute the textbook cycle from setup to returns independently or with team guidance.
• Use department technology to answer questions, recommend products, create adoptions, manage inventory and invoicing.
• Maintain knowledge of all store departments to support customers and team daily.
• Greet customers on the sales floor and assist with purchases of textbooks, merchandise, or services.
• Maintain an appealing sales floor—tag, shelf, organize product or space.
• Assist with processing sales transactions including cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
