Job summary

STO Building Group seeks a Traveling Superintendent to oversee Texas-based projects from start to finish. This full-time role involves coordinating scheduling, procurement, and onsite supervision across multiple sites with extensive travel.

You’ll collaborate with project managers, subs, and craft workers to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery while managing crews and budgets on ground-up commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience on ground-up commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily job site operations, scheduling, production, and procurement.
• Supervise direct labor and coordinate with subcontractors to meet project milestones.
• Develop and monitor look-ahead schedules with Project Manager; adjust plans as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements are maintained.
• Communicate progress with clients and internal stakeholders; resolve issues promptly.
