Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks a Construction Manager - Transmission & Distribution to lead overhead transmission and distribution projects across Texas. You will direct field crews, coordinate with project managers, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires 5–7 years of power construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work with unions and subcontractors across Texas. Extensive travel and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant power construction experience.
• Significant overhead transmission and/or distribution construction experience.
• Proven supervision of field crews and subcontractors.
• OSHA 30 or higher safety training.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Direct field construction activities for overhead transmission and distribution projects in Texas.
• Supervise field personnel including Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety culture and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors for safe, efficient execution.
• Monitor production, schedules, and field performance; implement corrective actions.
• Review quality standards, contract requirements, and customer expectations.
