Job summary

Lifeline Children's Services is seeking a Senior Manager to supervise and support state social work and case management staff under the State Director. The role requires TX residency, leadership in adherence to regulatory standards, and experience in child welfare.

The Senior Manager will oversee intake, file reviews, home studies, and staff development while ensuring compliance with Hague and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or a related human services field, required.
• TX LCPAA or currently eligible to sit for TX LCPAA exam, required
• At least 3 years of work in an agency, or child caring institution, or in an agency in a child welfare function, required
• Licensed Social Worker, if offered by State, strongly preferred
• Must lift at least 25lbs, must have reliable transportation
• Must reside within the state of Texas

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and on-going support, consultation, direction, instruction and advice for the social work and case management staff assigned under the supervision of the State Director.
• Provides individual and group supervision for state social work and case management staff and meets regularly with staff to review cases, identify risks, and develop case/service plans, within the scope of assigned program(s)
• Reviews the completed adoptive family and/or birth parent file to evaluate that all required documents have been submitted and comply with date, content, and verification of reported information.
• Gives the final approval of the home study based on the review of the entire record, if within the scope of assigned program(s)
• Stays abreast of all state regulations and monitors services to ensure compliance
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or member of the Executive Team
