Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Siting Lead to join our Energy Transition team in Texas. You will lead routing and siting studies, PUCT CCN applications, and deliver high-quality reports while growing client relationships and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires strong technical writing, leadership, and experience with CCN for the Texas PUCT, plus the ability to work in a hybrid environment with some travel. A master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, urban planning, GIS, engineering, biology, ecology, or similar.
• 12+ years of experience leading electric transmission line and substation siting projects in Texas.
• 8+ years of experience leading technical teams, managing schedules/budgets, and delivering high-quality work products.
• 5+ years of experience leading CCN for the PUC of Texas (PUCT) and client communication.
• Experience collaborating with scientists, engineers, archaeologists and other specialists on siting/environmental projects.
• Excellent technical writing and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Involvement in client development and leadership, including sourcing project opportunities and direct client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing and siting studies and PUCT CCN applications.
• Write and review technical siting reports and perform QA/QC on deliverables.
• Collaborate with public outreach and permitting teams to ensure project success.
• Develop siting strategies and coordinate with clients for outcomes.
• Grow and manage client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
