Job summary

Arcadis seeks an experienced Siting Lead to join the Energy Transition team, supporting siting and routing for electric transmission and renewable projects. You will work with a diverse group to deliver complex studies and regulatory filings.

The role blends client development with project delivery, requiring CCN leadership for the PUCT, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and occasional travel (15–20%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, urban planning, GIS, engineering, biology, ecology, or similar.
• 12+ years leading electric transmission line and substation siting projects in Texas.
• 8+ years leading technical teams, schedules, budgets, and high‑quality deliverables.
• 5+ years leading CCN projects for the PUC of Texas (PUCT).
• Experience collaborating with scientists, engineers, archaeologists and other specialists.
• Excellent technical writing and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Strong client development and relationship-building experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead routing and siting studies, and PUC siting applications.
• Write and review technical siting reports and regulatory filings.
• Provide senior QA/QC reviews of client deliverables.
• Coordinate with public outreach and permitting teams.
• Lead project teams and develop siting strategies with clients.
• Support growth of client relationships and pursue opportunities.
