Job summary

Metrocare Services in Dallas, TX is seeking an HVAC Technician II to independently install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. A valid Texas HVAC license and 3–5 years of hands-on experience are required. You will troubleshoot components, ensure safety, and document work orders accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of trade-related work
• Preferred: Associate degree in a related technical field
• Must have a valid Texas HVAC Class A, B, or Universal License

Responsibilities

• Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems per blueprints
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical problems
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC units
• Conduct performance tests and system diagnostics
• Replace parts following manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain inventory of tools and parts and document work orders
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations
• Provide professional internal customer service and guidance on system usage
• Drive Metrocare-assigned vehicle and maintain records
• Remain available for on-call emergencies
