Job summary

Goode Company in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced bartender to bring Texas hospitality to the bar. You will craft cocktails, pour beer and wine, and ensure guests enjoy a memorable visit, and maintaining high standards of presentation and service that reflect Goode Company's legendary hospitality.

You will engage guests, suggest beverage pairings, verify ages, and maintain a clean, organized bar while coordinating with kitchen and service staff to keep the service flowing.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience in a full-service or high-volume environment.
• Working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and responsible service.
• Strong guest communication, accuracy, speed, cleanliness, and composure.
• Food Handler and TABC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and consistently.
• Engage guests, recommend beverages and food, and communicate ingredients and preparation clearly.
• Verify age and follow responsible alcohol-service requirements without exception.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, pars, product rotation, and security.
• Enter orders and process checks and payments accurately.
• Coordinate with barbacks, servers, culinary teams, and managers to maintain service flow.
