Job summary

Primoris Distribution Services seeks an experienced Gas Distribution Fuser to join our Texas-based crew. The role requires hands-on poly fusion of polyethylene gas pipes, inspection, alignment, and fusion per specs, with daily travel to job sites around Greenville and Leonard.

You will operate fusion equipment, follow safety protocols, assist with installation and maintenance of underground gas systems, and support the crew with digging, backfilling, and site preparation.

Qualifications

• Previous natural-gas distribution experience is required.
• Previous poly-fusion, poly-welding, or pipe-fusion experience is required.
• Knowledge of underground gas-pipeline construction and safe work practices.
• Ability to report to Greenville, Texas, each workday.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to travel to surrounding project locations as needed.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform poly fusion on polyethylene gas pipe and fittings.
• Inspect, prepare, align, and fuse pipe according to established procedures and specifications.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground natural-gas distribution systems.
• Operate fusion equipment and related tools safely and correctly.
• Inspect completed fusion joints to ensure quality and compliance.
• Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements.
• Assist the crew with excavation, backfilling, pipe installation, and general jobsite duties as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized work area.
