Primoris Distribution Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Gas Distribution Fuser to join our Texas team.

This role performs poly fusion on polyethylene gas pipe and fittings, inspects joints, and supports underground natural-gas distribution projects. Candidates must have previous gas distribution and poly-fusion experience, be able to report to Greenville, Texas daily, and work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Experience in natural-gas distribution is required.
• Poly-fusion, poly-welding, or pipe-fusion experience required.
• Knowledge of underground gas-pipeline construction and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform poly fusion on polyethylene gas pipe and fittings.
• Inspect, prepare, align, and fuse pipe per procedures and specs.
• Assist installation, maintenance, and repair of underground natural-gas systems.
• Operate fusion equipment safely and correctly.
• Inspect fusion joints for quality and compliance.
• Follow safety requirements and assist with excavation and general duties.

Job Overview:Primoris Distribution Services is seeking an experienced Gas Distribution Fuser to join our team in Texas. This position requires previous natural-gas distribution experience and hands-on experience performing poly fusion, also known as poly welding or pipe fusion.The current project is located in Leonard, Texas; however, the crew truck departs from Greenville each day. Candidates must be able to report to Greenville daily.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform poly fusion on polyethylene gas pipe and fittings.Inspect, prepare, align, and fuse pipe according to established procedures and specifications.Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground natural-gas distribution systems.Operate fusion equipment and related tools safely and correctly.Inspect completed fusion joints to ensure quality and compliance.Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements.Assist the crew with excavation, backfilling, pipe installation, and general jobsite duties as needed.Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized work area.Job QualificationsPrevious experience working in natural-gas distribution is required.Previous poly-fusion, poly-welding, or pipe-fusion experience is required.Knowledge of underground gas-pipeline construction and safe work practices.Ability to report to Greenville, Texas, each workday.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.Ability to travel to surrounding project locations as needed.Valid driver’s license preferred.Company Overview:Primoris Gas Operations, which consist of companies such as Q3 Contracting, ARB, Primoris Distribution Services, Snelson and Pipejacking Trenchless, has over 60 years of experience working in the natural gas distribution industry.
