Job summary

Metric Geo in Texas seeks the founding leader to launch its Forensics practice in Texas (Austin or Dallas). You will be the first Forensic hire in the state, with autonomy to grow the practice, client base, and team from the ground up.

You’ll own project work from investigations to assessments, recruit and mentor engineers, and manage profitability while shaping the long-term direction of the Texas operation.

Qualifications

• Licensed PE in Texas (or ability to obtain)
• 10+ years in structural or forensic engineering
• Proven business development skills and a client following
• Experience leading or growing a practice, office, or business unit is a big plus

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the Texas book of business: develop the market strategy, build client relationships, and win new work
• Lead forensic investigations, structural failure analyses, and facility condition assessments
• Recruit, mentor, and build the Texas engineering team
• Manage project profitability and help shape the long-term direction of the practice
