Job summary

Meta is building a field-forward Local Partnerships team in Texas. We seek a locally rooted relationship-builder to develop partnerships with universities, sports teams, creators, local media, and civic organizations.

This builder will work independently on the ground to deepen Meta’s community impact. The role requires strong regional credibility, autonomous leadership, and the ability to manage partnerships and budgets while coordinating with central teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in community engagement, partnerships, public affairs, or related field.
• Established relationships with Texas education, business, media, and community leaders.
• Experience building and managing external partnerships from the ground up.
• Ability to operate autonomously and lead in-region initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Experience communicating with diverse external audiences at senior level.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Meta’s local representative in the region, building lasting community relationships.
• Develop and manage partnerships with universities, sports teams, creators, media, and cultural groups.
• Design and deliver local programs that create shared value for community and Meta.
• Bridge community priorities with Meta and act as an engaged, responsive neighbor.
• Bring Meta’s national programs to life locally.
• Represent Meta at local events and strengthen relationships with leaders and partners.
• Manage local partnership agreements and budgets with central teams.
• Track and report reach and impact of partnerships and programs.
• Travel to communities across Texas up to 50%.
