Job summary

Meta is building a field-forward Local Partnerships team to deepen relationships in Ohio. We seek a Local Partnerships Lead to serve as Meta's dedicated, full-time presence in Ohio—developing mutually beneficial partnerships with universities, sports teams, creators, media, and civic and cultural organizations.

This role requires 10+ years in community engagement and partnership-building, with the ability to operate autonomously and manage local initiatives, budgets, and programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in community engagement, partnerships, public affairs, economic development, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Meta's local representative in the assigned region, building and sustaining strong, lasting relationships with community institutions and leaders.
• Develop and manage mutually beneficial partnerships with local universities, sports teams, creators, local and regional media, and cultural organizations.
• Design and deliver local programs and initiatives that create shared value for the community and for Meta.
• Act as a two-way bridge — sharing community priorities and feedback with Meta, and helping Meta maintain a strong local presence.
• Represent Meta at local events, facility tours, and community moments, and strengthen relationships with community leaders and partners.
• Track and report on the reach and impact of local partnerships and programs.
• Travel to communities throughout the state as needed (up to 50%).
