The position offers training and professional support, enabling growth in collections and creditors' rights litigation. Expect ~four days weekly in court, and travel reimbursements for required proceedings.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and courtroom practice.
• Ability to independently handle court appearances and manage multiple hearings.
• Demonstrated skills in case evaluation, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence presenting in court.
• Strong organizational and time management with high-volume caseload.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology or case management systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues.
• Sound legal judgment, strong analytical abilities, attention to detail.
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service.
• Willingness to travel regularly within an assigned territory.

Responsabilités

• Represent clients in court hearings and legal proceedings throughout an assigned Texas territory, averaging approximately four days per week in court.
• Independently handle courtroom appearances, present case information, and advocate for clients in civil litigation and collection-related matters.
• Review and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other necessary legal documentation.
• Evaluate case details and determine appropriate strategies for litigation and resolution.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and other involved parties.
• Oversee assigned cases and ensure matters progress efficiently through the litigation process.
• Collaborate with clients, internal staff, and opposing counsel regarding case status and resolution.
• Maintain accurate case records, meet court deadlines, and ensure compliance with procedures.
