Your Talent Team is assisting an established Texas law firm in its search for a Texas-licensed Attorney to support civil litigation and creditors' rights practice. The role emphasizes courtroom appearances and independent hearings, with four days per week in court across an assigned territory.

You will work with an experienced team to manage case work, negotiate settlements, and ensure timely progression through litigation while maintaining client service and professional integrity.

Qualifikationen

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and courtroom practices.
• Ability to independently handle court appearances and manage multiple hearings.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation and dispute resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with confidence presenting matters in court.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with a high-volume caseload.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology or case management systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with legal and administrative colleagues.

• Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.

Aufgaben

• Represent clients in court hearings and legal proceedings within Texas territory, approximately four days per week.
• Independently handle courtroom appearances, present case information, and advocate for clients.
• Review and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Evaluate case details and determine litigation and resolution strategies.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and others.
• Oversee assigned cases and ensure smooth progression through litigation.
• Collaborate with clients, internal staff, and opposing counsel on case status.
• Maintain accurate case records and meet court deadlines.
