Job summary

Egis Texas State Lead role focuses on general aviation and non-hub airports, delivering FAA and State DOT projects and managing design, bidding, and construction administration tasks.

You'll ensure compliance with master plans, federal grant requirements, FAA standards, and project scopes, with a preference for a P.E. within the first year. This position is based in Dallas, Texas, and involves on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 12+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred or able to obtain within first year.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with FAA/State DOT standards may be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Design experience on FAA and State DOT aviation projects within an assigned client base.
• Manage portions of a project: grant facilitation, design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout.
• Ensure compliance with airport master plans, grant assurances, FAA/state design standards, and project scope.
• Develop contract specifications and bid estimates; coordinate engineering design staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain accurate daily timekeeping and project documentation.
